Hello, my name is Dr. Sara Sultz and I am excited to be a part of doc, where I can treat people they way I feel they should be treated, in their own home with plenty of time and attention. I am originally from the Dallas area and went to college at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX, and there I fell in love with small town living. Then, I moved to San Antonio for medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center and while in school, I met my husband, Josh Sultz, who is now a Gastroenterologist with Central Texas GI in Bryan. I completed my Pediatric Residency with the Air Force in San Antonio and remained on active duty for the next 4 years and loved my time treating military families and their children. During this time, we also had 2 wonderful children who are growing up way too fast!
In 2015, we decided we were ready for a change and moved to Belton, TX where I worked for Baylor Scott and White Health but grew frustrated with the bureaucracy of the large group. In 2017 we decided to move to College Station for better work opportunities and have been very happy here.
My focus is on all aspects of pediatric care and I love all ages from birth to 21 years old. I always try to address the physical, mental and social issues present to improve the overall health of my patients, including incorporating alternative or complementary medicine when appropriate. I have a wide range of training including caring for well children, acute illnesses (colds, ear infections, pneumonia), former preemies, complex medical problems and mental health (ADHD, learning disabilities, depression, and anxiety). I strive to be compassionate and friendly and look forward to an opportunity to serve you and your family!
